Hydronics is a system of heating or cooling by means of the forced circulation of liquids or vapors through a set of pipes. The liquids are typically hot water or chilled water and the vapors are steam. Hot water and steam are generated with boilers and chilled water is generated with chillers. Hydronics is also used in radiant heating and cooling applications as well as snow melting systems.
